Passcreator is an online app that provides a visual editor to create, sell and distribute Wallet passes which your customers can use directly on their smartphones.
The Apple Wallet app has been named Passbook before iOS 9.
Wallet membership pass with personalized fields for the customers' name
A Wallet store card on an iPhone which shows the current balance of the customer
A Coupon shown in the PassWallet App on Android.
Our online app makes it as easy as it gets to create Wallet passes for your business - without knowing how to code!
Using our visual pass designer you can see what your Wallet pass will look like on your customers' smartphone (iPhones, Android- and Windows Phones) while designing it. All images and texts can be defined as you need them which allows you to adapt your corporate design easily. All data can be personalized to e.g. show the name of your customer on the passe. Available barcode formats are PDF417, QR-Code and Aztec.
Update the Wallet passes by sending Push Notifications to your customers' devices. This means you can change the content of the Wallet passes after the pass has been downloaded. Using this feature you can inform about a new marketing campaign without sending out another newsletter that is linking to your pass. Push data to your customers in a way that will be noticed.
You can save time and location based reminders in Wallet passes. This means that as soon as the given time or location is reached a notification is shown on the users' lockscreen.
Using this you can remind your users when they are near your store and also make sure that the pass is quickly available when they e.g. want to redeem a coupon or show the event ticket at the entrance of your event.
iBeacons are small Bluetooth low energy transmitter that work similar to a lighthouse. Means they are sending out an ID that is saved in the Wallet pass. As soon as the Smartphone is within the range of the iBeacon a Notification is shown. The range can be configured and is between 0.5 and 70 meters.
Using iBeacons you can welcome your users at your store or show the coupon when they are near a offer you want to advertise.
The difference to GPS-based reminders is mainly that you can configure a very specific area where the notification is shown and that a GPS-signal is not necessary which can be helpful in large buildings.
GPS-based reminders are shown in a range between 200 and 500 meters whereas iBeacon reminders can be shown 0.5 to 70 meters around the iBeacon.
iBeacons can be bought at our partner Sensorberg.
Wallet is an Apple technology but there are apps that can display and store Wallet passes for most major mobile platforms: Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 8.
If you customers don't own a smartphone they can print the pass.
